Gambling Counselling

Our Services
At Gambling Counselling, we are a private counselling organisation offering specialised therapeutic support for individuals and families affected by gambling harm and related addictive behaviours. Our services are fee-based, provided by qualified counsellors and psychologists with expertise in gambling, substance use, and co-occurring mental health concerns.

All sessions are confidential, evidence-informed, and tailored to your unique needs. We offer both in-person and online appointments, delivered by experienced professionals who understand the complexities of addiction and the journey to recovery.

At Gambling Counselling, we offer more than therapeutic support, we also provide clinical supervision for counsellors, case workers, and allied health professionals. Our supervision acknowledges the complex, co-occurring nature of problem gambling, mental health challenges, addiction, and family and domestic violence (FDV). We offer reflective, trauma-informed supervision that supports ethical, effective, and sustainable practice. Sessions are available individually or in groups, online or in-person.

Individual Counselling

Our individual counselling provides a safe and confidential space to address the personal impacts of gambling harm. Sessions are tailored to your needs, helping you explore underlying issues and develop practical strategies for change. Our qualified counsellors take a non-judgmental, trauma-informed approach. Whether you're starting your journey or seeking ongoing support, we're here to help.
Group Therapy

Our group counselling sessions provide a safe, supportive space to share experiences and learn alongside others affected by gambling harm. Led by experienced facilitators, each session focuses on practical tools for managing urges, emotional regulation, and recovery. The group setting helps reduce isolation and builds a sense of connection and accountability. Sessions run regularly and are open to anyone seeking peer-supported change.
Family Counselling

Gambling harm often affects not just the individual, but their loved ones as well. Our family counselling service supports partners, parents, and family members to better understand gambling behaviours, rebuild trust, and improve communication. We help families set healthy boundaries and strengthen relationships in a safe, supportive environment. Sessions are led by experienced counsellors who guide families toward healing and positive change together.
Online Sessions

We offer secure and confidential online counselling sessions for individuals and families impacted by gambling harm. Telehealth allows you to access professional support from the comfort and privacy of your own home. Our qualified counsellors provide the same level of care and personalisation as in-person sessions. This flexible option makes it easier to get the help you need, wherever you are.
Clinical Supervision

Gambling Counselling offers professional clinical supervision to counsellors, case workers, and allied health practitioners working in areas such as family and domestic violence (FDV), alcohol and other drug (AOD) services, problem gambling, mental health, and youth support.
Our supervision services are grounded in ethical, trauma-informed, and reflective practice principles, supporting professionals to enhance their skills, navigate complex client presentations, and maintain their wellbeing in demanding roles. Supervision is delivered by experienced and accredited supervisors, including members of the Australian Counselling Association’s College of Supervisors. Sessions are available for individuals or small groups, either in-person or online, depending on your needs.
